Cross Bar Exit Devices

Von Duprin’s 55 and 88 Exit Device Crossbars are ideal for environments needing a traditional-looking exit device where heavy-duty applications are needed. Although both the 55 and 88 Series have the same functionality, they offer different dimensions and design elements. The 55 Series is a narrow stile device that is commonly used in retro-inspired architecture and historical buildings, whereas the 88 Series is a standard wide stile device used in applications where a crossbar is preferred.

Recessed Exit Devices

Von Duprin’s 94 and 95 INPACT™ Series Recessed Push Pads are specifically designed for high-traffic applications to greatly reduce impact, being fully integrated within a door to protect the opening from abuse. Although the 94 and 95 Series have the same functionality and are low-profile devices compatible with hollow metal doors, the exit devices are designed with different elements; the 94 Series has a smooth mechanism case, and the 95 Series has a grooved mechanism case.

Quiet Latch Retraction (QEL)
The QEL gives off limited operational noise while providing electronic control of an exit device. Available on panic devices and fire-rated devices, the QEL option can be ordered as a complete device or as a module kit for retrofitting existing solutions.

Remote Undogging and Monitoring
The RM/RU solution enhances security by expanding the reach of the access control system and provides a more comprehensive perimeter security package. The Remote Undogging and Remote Monitoring options allow for undogging to be initiated from a secure location and are complementary to existing access control solutions.

EPTs and Power Supplies

Electric Power Transfers (EPTs) assist in providing electrical power from a door frame to the edge of a swinging door, allowing products on or around the door to receive power. The ball-and-socket joint construction of EPTs provides cut and pinch protection for electrical wiring. Once installed, they are concealed completely when a door is in its closed position and are perfect for applications involving abuse or heavy traffic. Von Duprin’s PS914 Power Supply delivers highly filtered and regulated “clean” output that protects downstream devices and is designed to be used with panic exits needing high in-rush currents.

Mortise Electrical Strikes
Von Duprin’s series of mortise electrical strikes are designed to be highly configurable with openings using mortise and cylindrical devices. The 6200 Series are made from stainless steel construction, making it a heavy-duty electrical strike that is UL 10C fire-rated and factory configurable for fail safe and fail secure applications. The 6400 Series electrical strike is ideal for installations where misalignment or a tight fit may be an issue, due to its horizontal adjustability, and provides a fail-secure only solution for fire-rated openings.
