DoorBird Expands Video Intercom Lineup with D22x Series

DoorBird has introduced the D22x Series, the successor to its D21x Series of IP video door intercoms. The new line includes more than 30 models built for single-family homes, multi-unit buildings and commercial properties.

Every D22x Series model features a 5-megapixel HDR camera with a Sony image sensor and a 180-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, designed for clear video in a range of lighting conditions. Flexible access options come pre-installed, including dual-frequency RFID, Bluetooth, and app-based entry, with keypad, fingerprint, and QR code access on select models. Property managers can adjust permissions remotely.

The D22x Series supports SIP, OSDP, RS485, Wiegand, LAN, and cloud APIs, enabling integration with more than 100 smart home, access control, and building management systems. Finishes include stainless steel, brass, powder coatings, and RAL colors. Existing D21x Series installations can be upgraded to the D22x Series by replacing the main electrical unit.
